Employers with 1 or more employees must register as employers and register their employees as insured persons within 30 days. In addition, if new employees are hired, the employer must notify the registration within 30 days, and in the event that an employee resigns, the employer must notify the end of the insured person status within the 15th of the following month.
What are the consequences of not registering for social security?
According to social security law, if an employer fails to register or comply with the requirements, it will be considered an offense, which may result in imprisonment of up to 6 months, a fine of up to 20,000 THB, or both.
